MEIKO Indigo Dyed Crocodile Leather Tote Bag 2way
¥1,760,000
DNo.642721
The 2-way leather tote bag from FUJITAKA GALLERY is made from crocodile leather. The crocodile's skin pattern is symmetrically arranged and luxuriously cut from the center. The main material, crocodile leather is dyed using the Awa Sho Indigo Dyeing Method, is known worldwide as “Japan Blue”, which is also designated as an intangible cultural property.
The Awa Sho Indigo Dyeing Method is traditionally used to dye indigo using indigo from the Awa region of Tokushima Prefecture, blessed climate, and extensive time and effort. Crocodile leather is known for its durability (although the grain surface is delicate) and is more flexible and stretcher compared to other animal skins. The indigo dye's luster deepens and becomes more tasteful as it is used more and more, resulting in an increase in unevenness.
In addition to the main compartment, it has two zippered compartments on the front and back.
*Shoulder strap included.
*The name tag that is included is available for engraving on the back.
