Chrome-tanned leather edge is not easy to polish compared to vegetable tanned leather’s, and it is usually finished with a turning edge. The edge of vegetable tanned leather is hard, but that of chrome tanned leather is soft and elastic. However, for this series, the craftsmen use their own ‘dye powder’ and advanced techniques to polish the edges. The interior turned edge leather is also finished with a painted edges.
