Bubbles (2)
The Meiko Briefcase series is MEIKO brand that makes full use of artisan techniques. The main material is made of calf leather from the French DUPUY. The material is made of carefully selected European calf leather and tanned by a top-class calf leather tanner, giving it a unique feel and touch. In addition, the repeated careful milling process gives it a natural look. Briefcases create a three-dimensional structure on the surface, which can be said to be the face of the bag, so the edges are made by inserting a leather core, which requires a very advanced technique of carefully removing the creases and creating a raised edge to prevent wrinkles. In addition, the thigh part of the handle is not sewn on top, but rather the leather core is inserted inside to add thickness and stitching is applied to create a raised expression. This is a very difficult technique to sew in a state of increased strength, and it is a design point that gives an impression of elegance while being simple.

MEIKO Crocodile (9)
We use crocodiles with high rarity value because the area of leather that can be harvested from one animal is small. It is characterized by beautiful rows of fine, uniform rectangular scales on its abdomen. It is carefully tanned in Japan tanner over a long period of 60 days and dried for about 2 weeks to allow the chemicals to mature. Lightly oiled and softly tanned, the undercoat is dyed on a drum, blended from hundreds of caseins, and then buffed by hand to finish the surface. The unevenness of the crocodile becomes more lustrous as it ages, making it a top-class product with a deep and tasteful color.
