We use bridle leather, that are tanned by a long-established British tanner, which the surface of the cowhide is wax painted by hand over and over again to create not only hardness but also flexibility. The surface is characterized by a white powder called bloom, which is exuded from wax. As you use it, it naturally blends in and changes to a beautiful luster.
