The Fujitaka Gallery MEIKO CROCODILE A4 just size briefcase is crafted with three-dimensional sewing and crocodile leather to give a sense of ownership. This masterpiece deserves to be a lifelong item that you can carry with you throughout your life. The inside of the bag is made of black kip cowhide, and it is a luxurious all-leather specification that satisfies the sense of ownership of a higher grade. Although the size is 37 cm, it is not as large as the normal width, but it can still hold A4-sized plastic document folders. The gusset structure's secret lies in its creation with a post sewing machine. This special gusset structure creates space to store an A4-sized document folder with a width that is just the right size for A4 paper. The craftsmanship of the craftsman is highlighted in the details, like the hand-sewn handle with an exquisite curve that fits perfectly in the hand and the carefully polished leather edge.

Warranty and Repair

When you purchase a product from a FUJITAKA store, a guarantee card (hereinafter referred to as the card) is included. This card is a guarantee for FUJITAKA products.

Guarantee

The warranty period is six months from the date of purchase.
We will repair any product malfunctions caused by normal use free of charge. However, please note that the warranty does not cover scratches, friction, discoloration, rain stains, superficial dirt, damage caused by storing a weight or capacity that exceeds the normal expected amount, or damage after repair or modification by a company other than ours.
Please note that there are cases when repair is not possible.

To request a repair, please bring the card along with the product to the store where you purchased it, or contact us via this website. Please note that if you do not present the card, or if the card does not have your name, purchase date, product code, or store of purchase written on it, the warranty may not apply.

About maintenance

< Handling Precautions >

When storing, avoid high temperatures and humidity, and store in a well-ventilated place as much as possible. Please note that prolonged exposure to sunlight or lighting may cause discoloration.

< Care Instructions >

If the product gets wet due to water, rain, or sweat, gently press it with a soft cloth to remove the moisture quickly and dry it in the shade. If you are concerned about dirt, gently wipe it with a bristle brush or dry cloth. When using cleaners or creams, be sure to use products made specifically for leather.

Orders placed by 3pm on business days and the payment is completed, it will be shipped the same day. Orders placed after 3pm will be shipped the next business day. Shipping will be from Osaka City.
If the specified date is later, we will ship the item 2-3 days before the specified date due to the storage period of the delivery company.

< About returns >

You must contact us within 14 days from the date of shipment to request a return. No refunds or exchanges can be made after 14 days of purchase.
All returned items must be unused, in the same condition as when you received them, and in the original packaging. Due to the nature of the product, we cannot accept returns for care products.

Depending on the destination country, shipping products overseas can result in extra expenses such as customs duties, import taxes, and customs clearance fees. Description of item

Crocodile

The crocodile's belly leather, which is now scarce, is luxuriously taken from the center on all sides and the spots are arranged symmetrically on both sides. This product is made by skilled Japanese craftsmen who carefully tailor it from cutting to sewing, making it high-quality product. The size of the widest part of the crocodile's belly is 50 cm or larger. Crocodiles over 50cm are highly valued because it takes 2 to 3 years for a farm-raised crocodile to reach a width of 30cm, and 4 to 5 years for a wild crocodile. The crocodile leather is carefully tanned by a Japanese tanner over a long period of 60 days, dried for about 2 weeks to mature the chemicals, lightly oiled and softly tanned, the base dyed in a drum, and mixed from hundreds of casein finish, and then the surface is polished with a hand buff to complete the product. As it gets older, the unevenness of the crocodile leather increases in luster, and it becomes a masterpiece with a deep and beautiful color.

Sewing

We use a special sewing machine called a post sewing machine with a stick-shaped arm protruding vertically from the bottom instead of a general flat or arm sewing machine. Japanese top-class craftsmen use advanced technology to create a three-dimensional sewing that is impossible to sew with a normal sewing machine.
