This is a long wallet with a round zipper that use "LEZZA BOTANICA" high-spec sustainable leather made from a by-product of food (cowhide) and a by-product of plant origin (wine pomace).
<LEZZA BOTANICA> is a sustainable leather making that reuses plant-derived by-products for tanning and dyeing leather, which are by-products of food. When tanning leather, which is a by-product of food, the polyphenols contained in wine pomace, a type of plant-derived pomace that is discarded during food waste or manufacturing processes, are used to create leather that is both strong and flexible. In addition, as a natural dye, it not only succeeded in giving depth to the leather, but also achieved antibacterial and deodorizing effects.

Description of item
LEZZA BOTANICA(R) is a sustainable way of making leather which is food by-products by using pomaces, which are plant by-products for tanning and dyeing. All over Japan, we can see plant-derived pomace that is discarded during food loss or manufacturing processes. As a result of repeated research on tanning using polyphenols contained in wine pomace, which is the pomace of wine, a leather that is both strong and supple was born, and we succeeded in adding depth to the leather as a natural dye. At the same time, it is a high-spec material that has antibacterial and deodorant properties.
